INTRODUCTION
“LIVE A JUST LIFE” is a set of Soulful poems extolling the importance of
good Karmas in our present life as an investment which can ensure a better future
in present life as well as in next life. Karma repays in just and equal terms.
What we sow we reap. Our Thought & Action create our Karmas. Intent of our thought
& action defines good or bad karma. We can see the effect of Karmas around
us. Nobody or no life is similar even within their own species. What can be the
reason for such variations? Why some suffer and struggle whereas some live a
comfortably stable and smooth life. Except Karma, there is no plausible
explanation which can give us an answer.
Life mimics the Law of Karma. It is like how we plan
our future & prepare for our career. Nobody can exactly predict what future
holds but we all try to meticulously plan for the future we want. Same is the
case with our career. Sincere efforts & dedication can assure to give
positive result in the field/career/vocation we want to pursue. Overriding
uncertainty, our Faith propels us to persevere & strive to aim for the
best. This same attitude we should apply to our life.
DNA means our Deed Need Aspiration. Quality of our
Deeds to satisfy Needs and fulfil Aspirations determines the DNA we will be
born with and the quality of body as well as form we will get. This concept of
play of Karmas & continuity of Life after death of physical body is not
easily accepted by many as our thinking is based on Tangible aspect of life. In
actuality Intangible is the real Life which is eternal & indestructible.
I am a Law Graduate retired Bank employee. Reading,
Observing, Listening & interaction with varied category of people has
helped me gain some insight into impact of Spirituality behind our tangible
life. Whatever little I have been able to understand I have tried to put it in
my writing. “LIVE A JUST LIFE” is my 4th
book but 2nd Poem book.
My 1st book “PERCEPTION-WHY ME” tries to convey that root cause of
our trouble is how we perceive a situation. Minor changes in our thinking and
attitude can give major positive benefits leading to a much relaxed and
meaningful life.

“KARMA LINGA” my
2nd book defines that we ourselves thru our Karmas/Deeds govern our
life and destiny. Quality of our Karmas determine our DNA as well as the
quality of life we will (Evolved or Downgraded) & assign the Linga of Life
or the Life form we qualify to be born from.

Poem book “MOODS N MUSINGS” is my third book. This book is a
collection of some poems from my college days to the recent past. Poetry is my
natural reaction to a given situation. Beauty of a Poem is that a String of
words give life to Emotions. It is magic to express your feelings in a few
words.

HAS GOD ERRED
God
has erred, or
is
it planned, created
human
in varied shapes,
shades,
species and races,
were
meant to live together,
under
God’s grace;
God
has erred,
or
is it planned, created
religions
to emphasis,
love
for all,
many
Prophets, Seers,
Saints
you did send,
to
show us your path,
of
peace & love,
preach
empathy for all,
live
as one;
God
has laid a Path,
for
us to follow,
where
bliss in life
is
pure & sublime,
Prophets
Seers Saints,
our
guiding lights,
were
true in their sights,
preached
love, peace
and
spread humanity;
We
have erred,
we
have strayed,
there
is so much strife,
enmity
hatred around,
we
praise the Lord,
preach
God’s virtues,
but
follow the Devil,
we
teach hatred,
in
God’s name;
God
has not erred,
it
was not planned,
Prophets
Seers Saints
showed
us God’s path,
vested
interest,
played
their part,
in
their pious name,
played
a game,
founding
religion, dividing
people
spreading hate,
caste
creed colour race,
are
laid as bait;
We
have erred,
from
what was planned,
we
have shunned,
Love
bliss peace harmony,
strife
blood & mayhem,
are
our chosen path,
what
was divine,
we
have lost,
God
has not erred,
we
have moved away
we
left divine path.

DOUBLE MEANING LIFE
Life
is love,
serene
bliss,
pure
as gold,
but
craving lust
creeps
in to bust,
peace
of trust;
Life
is sand,
hold
it lightly,
can
build castles,
lasting
lashing waves,
hold
it tight, it
slips
out of hand,
leaving
behind,
empty
dirty hand;
Life
is water,
nectar
nourishing
always
in a flow,
gurgling
with life,
side
stepping obstacles,
but
in fury,
breaking
banks,
ravaging
fields,
engulfing
places,
submerging
plains;
Life
is waves,
with
its high n low,
can
ride the crest,
or
be swept away;
Life
is air,
it
sustains n cares,
harness
it,
to
create power,
play
lilting music, or
die
gasping for breath;
Life
is breeze,
softly
caressing
cool
& soothing,
in
destroying craze,
howling
whistling
uprooting
trees;
Life
is fire, can
light
someone’s life,
shows
us path,
or
it can be hell,
burning
all to ash;
Double
meaning Life,
is
same for all,
it
waxes it wanes,
for
us to decide,
our
fate, craving
for
morsel or
make
a cake of it;

LIFE IN TUNE
Life
is melodious, with
rhythm
of its own,
emotions
its lyrics,
duties
set the tune;
Life
is throbbing,
full
of meaning,
when
presence is felt,
in
loneliness;
Life
is harmony,
tranquil
serene,
when
in cacophony,
silence
we hear;
Life
is swirling stream,
gurgling
bubbling
verve
n energy,
skirting
obstacles
nourishing
fields;
Life
is soothing,
very
calming, when
fluttering
chirping birds
soothes
bustling city’s
fraying
nerves;
Life
is cooling breeze,
under
sprawling tree
of
familial bond,
caressing
care,
of
blooming buds,
grooming
growth, of
blossoming
flowers,
bearing
healthy
fruits
of future;

THREE SIDES OF A COIN
We as one, are
three sides of a coin,
representing all
aspects of our life,
one side is glory,
embossed as
symbol of past;
We as one, are
three sides of a coin,
one side is present,
giving real value,
showing our worth;
We as one, are
three sides of a coin,
third side is
the width of rims,
holding apart,
the two sides,
while being attached
keeping the past at bay,
from influencing the present,
pegging the value
to grow in worth;
We as one, are
three sides of a coin,
standing on the rim
is best for us,
balancing staying upright,
proudly displaying both
sides,
past as pride n guide,
astride ambitious horse,
aspiring future,
extracting maximum value,
from present worth;
Replicating life,
we as one, are
three sides of a coin,
visible side is
materialist world,
intrinsic body faculties
the other side,
binding both sides
is the Eternal Soul,
punishing rewarding,
as per past present
Karmic deeds,
is the Karma Rim;

HUMANE HUMAN
I see a world of
humans around,
Cold blooded Heartless,
where days are full of hate,
sprinkled with bits of love,
to keep heart in place;
I see a world of
humans around,
filled with selfish greed,
brutal cruel thoughts
is the accepted creed,
doling out charity,
to bargain solace;
I see a world of
humans around,
cowardly outwardly pious,
merciless sadist pitiless,
shrouded in garb of
patriotic religious fervor,
deriding dividing,
satisfying their thirst,
killing spilling blood;
I see a world of
humans around,
I am a human being,
I want to see a world
of humane beings,
full of Love Peace Kindness,
where Humanity
Brotherhood abound,
Compassion Sympathy
is naturally found,
Empathy is deeply felt
For every being around;
Is it difficult
for a Human being
to just add an ‘E’
to be a Humane being,
by Erasing Ego,
by Erasing Enmity,
by Erasing Extremism,
by Erasing Expectations,
by Erasing Encroachment,
to turn out from Human
to a Positive Peace loving
Practical Humane being.

I WONDER I PONDER
I wonder,
thought I ponder,
does our formless
Atman Spirit n Soul,
free of bondage
of any visible body,
has a religion,
has any shape,
have a country,
have any place,
where they reside
gracefully in peace,
as per their religion,
as per their caste,
as per their attributes,
or constantly in conflict,
as per the identity,
as we humans live;
I wonder,
thought I ponder,
does our Gods,
Holy Messengers,
Prophets and Saints,
live in peace,
in their own place,
as per the religion,
which we know them with,
or are constantly in conflict,
as we humans are in,
or they coexist as one,
free of any religion,
as all have preached,
divine path of Universal
Love Peace Harmony
Compassion Humanity,
propagating not any
particular religion,
but path of righteousness,
truth of Omnipresent
Omnipotent One Almighty;
I wonder,
thought I ponder,
all Earthly beings,
have an Atman
Spirit n Soul, residing
in respective bodily form,
except humans, every
being follows divine,
laid down norms,
for their forms,
Almighty has bestowed,
on we humans,
a well-defined body,
a refined mind,
an evolved brain,
to grow spiritually,
which we have wasted,
lusting for power,
in pursuit of greed,
to compartmentalize,
to divide by language
religion boundaries
countries color shapes,
creating chaos disruptions,
spreading hatred enmity,
degenerating, instead of
growing peacefully;
I wonder,
thought I ponder, that
we religiously praise
the righteous path, but
we fail to sense,
the essence of God,
residing in our psyche,
showing us the right path,
but our senses,
like obsessed moth,
get easily attracted
to the glitter of
the materialistic devil,
ensconsed in our mind,
creating all the chaos,
stoking fire of hatred,
in this beautiful faultless
creation of God called Earth;
I wonder,
thought I ponder, but
I am nearly sure,
Atman Spirit Soul,
Almighty Prophets
Religious Gurus Saints,
all are one,
in peace with self,
harmonous movement of
planets asteroids
stars n comets,
functioning of the Universe
since times immemorial,
is the proof that,
no division of religion,
no enmity of region,
no hatred of community,
exist in the REAL world,
only tranquility prevails,
in the spiritual world;

MIND HAS NO MIND
Mind is the fulcrum
of our life,
quality of our life
rotates on its axis,
we have to be
mindful of our mind,
mind has no
mind of his own,
we have to keep
our mind to self,
we have to look within,
listen to inner self,
to keep our mind
on the defined path,
we have to keep
our mind at leash,
constantly coax,
cajole and groom,
from loitering around,
leering ogling lusting
at attractive beautiful
materialist things,
what we feed
is what we get,
what we sow we reap,
what we think,
reflects as thoughts,
how we perceive
is mind’s perception,
what we desire
mind aspires,
how we observe,
our mind reacts,
mind play is in
every aspect of our life,
Social Relations,
Mental Physical health,
to live a life of peace,
don’t give to others
a piece of your mind,
mind is a tease,
we have to keep it at ease;
If mind had a mind of its own,
we would have been on
Almighty’s path of
Love Peace Harmony
Trust n Faith,
which has been now
laid to rest,
sensible and just mind
has failed the test,
Life is on a boil,
Destruction Stress
Hate Strife Turmoil
is on the rise, justifies
that mind has no mind,
mind of his own, but a
limited set frame
of survival instincts,
fed with basic inputs
as per particular life form,
impulse of sensory organs,
triggers emotional stimulus,
mind responds, as per
severity of sensitivity,
intensity of frequency,
brain is the hardware,
mind its operating system,
programmed with Divine intent,
underlined with noble thoughts,
to analyze and compute,
sensory inputs,
with an inbuilt software,
which updates as we age,
as per the life form
we are born in.

PEACE AND SOLACE
I
attend prayers,
in
devotion & faith,
for
peace and solace,
aura
of peace surrounds,
physically
I am present,
mind
wanders around,
mundane
thoughts abound,
agitating
my mind,
to
keep peace
out
of bounds;
I
go to satsang,
ardently
hear sermons,
for
peace and solace,
eyes
are fixed
on
the source,
can
catch the meaning
behind
the discourse,
preconceived
notions,
blocks
the mind,
derails
true meaning
behind
preaching,
as pathos are
missing,
in
my daily course,
I
fail to inculcate
ethos of
teaching;
Alone
in silence,
for
peace and solace,
I
sit to meditate,
as
mind meditates,
efforts
to concentrate
goes
to waste,
stillness
of thought fails,
vagaries
and perils
of
daily life prevails,
mind
tries to mediate,
but
fails to be at rest;
I
listen to soulful
hymns,
for
peace and solace,
praising
paeans of Lord,
can
feel the rhythm,
humm
of chanting hymes,
swooning
swaying,
I
am all ears,
mind
is tuned
to
rhythm of stillness,
but
cacophony of world,
drowns
the silence of sound;
To
atone for,
known
and unknown,
sins
committed,
for
peace and solace,
trying
to accumulate
wealth
of good karmas,
by
publicly doling out,
donating
to charities,
helping
the needy,
physically
mentally,
intentionally
unintentionally,
am
very careful,
not
to hurt anybody,
deeds
are noble,
am
overtly pious;
I
am faithful,
I
have faith in God,
that
one day, before
soul
leaves the body,
I
will be blessed,
I
will be one,
body
and soul
will
be together,
physically
mentally,
will
be in unison,
will
be one,
be
one with self,
will
be as one,
in
love with the world,
in
peace with everyone.

ONE DAY IT IS CERTAIN
One
day, it is certain,
a
near and dear one,
will
cremate my body,
consign
me to flames,
turning
me to ash,
to
be mingled
with Panchtatvas,
elements
of nature;
One
day, it is certain,
a
near and dear one,
will
bury me,
lay
me to rest,
to
disintegrate,
to
be fodder for some,
to
be merged,
with Mother
Earth;
One
day, it is certain,
the
mightiest strongest,
will
not have the strength,
to
hold their own weight,
will
have to be carried,
by
near and dear ones,
to
the final resting place;
One
day, it is certain,
smartest,
vilest,
the
most cunning,
will
not be able
hoodwink
survival,
be
able to wriggle out,
from
clutches of destiny,
will
be laid to rest,
by
near and dear ones,
to
rest in peace;
One
day, it is certain,
our
body, for which
we
have given our life,
to
inflate with ego,
to
satisfy urge of lust,
to
satiate thirst for more,
to
breed greed, pamper needs,
to
groom beautify self,
to
build n break relations,
will
lie motionless,
with
no life to move,
when
we die, Soul
the
real me will rise,
body
will fall lifeless,
to
be immediately taken
by
near and dear ones,
to
be disposed of, before
it
rots decays smells;
One
day, we should realize,
for
our own good,
body
identifies material,
my
physical self,
will
be left behind,
indestructible
eternal
Soul,
the real me,
cannot
be cremated,
consigned
to flames,
turned
to ashes,
buried
to disintegrate,
to
merge with nature,
be
one with Mother Earth,
as
soul is the essence of

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT
Nothing is perfect,
in this beautiful perfect
world,
perfection is an illusion,
creating surreal mirage
of pristine perfection,
by cohesive play
of various species
specific imperfections,
beautifully captivating us,
to ignore imperfections,
enchanting us to be
enamored by their grit,
admiring survival instincts,
abilities to overcome
shortcomings of beings;
In this perfect world,
nothing is perfect,
imperfection is all around,
some walk some fly,
some live under water,
some live under ground,
some slither some slide,
some drag some crawl,
some are swift some agile,
some have grace,
some have pace,
some are sturdy,
some entwin to grow,
some lumber, some trundle,
some are sloppy some droopy;
In this perfect world,
nothing is perfect,
some have hands,
to grab opportunities,
some have strength,
to subdue opponents;
some have wings,
to soar high,
touch the sky,
some are rooted
to the ground,
sprouting colors of life,
spreading sweet
fragrance of love,
blossoming providing,
food to live a healthy life;
Nobody is perfect,
nothing is perfect,
in this perfect world,
nature teaches us a lesson,
to ignore faults,
not to rue shortcomings,
hankering for perfection,
will give us a life of rut,
to live a peaceful
harmonious fruitful life,
improve on strength,
we should accept our own,
as well as accept
others imperfections,
helping each other,
by optimally utilizing
on what we have got.

FESTIVAL OF LIFE
Poem by Bharat P. Bedi
I
was in a Divine place,
where
people’s humanity,
was
shimmering bright,
Festival
of Lights, was
lit
by radiance of smile,
joy
& happiness was
Illuminating
life,
bliss
was twinkling
in
their eyes, like
a
blinking string of lights,
from
warmth of togetherness,
faces
were glowing,
like a
golden lantern,
replacing
sounds of crackers,
was
crackle of happiness,
loud
burst of laughter,
sparkle
of peace n harmony,
glitter
of humane love,
rocket
of integrity, was
soaring
with prosperity,
light
of humanity was
piercing
darkness of hatred,
fragrance
of cordial relations,
was
spreading sweetness
of festive
treats;
Seeing
me dazed,
totally
amazed,
by
the divine
aura
of
serene ambience,
a
local enlightened me,
the
glow is pure,
coming
from within,
as
acceptance gives peace,
satisfaction
keeps us at ease,
patience
helps will to hold,
sharing
builds lasting bond,
caring
teaches love for all,
humane
is the will of God,
humanity
is the real
religion
of us all,
this
brightness this glitter
this
glare is natural from within us,
is
always with us, for us
every
moment is an occasion
for
celebration, we are not
dependent
on external lights,
to
be lit on festivals nights,
as
we don’t have to hide,
the
layers of darkness, of
cunning
greed hatred and strife;
Sweating
shuddering shivering,
I
woke up with an unease,
from
the dream I have been in,
pondering,
is it difficult
to
live a dream life,
like
the life I have
seen
in the dream,
adopting
simple virtues,
adhering
noble values,
seems
difficult in this
cut
throat go getter,
today’s
self centered world,
but
easily possible, if
we
don’t let our virtues,
turn
to be our vices.

ART OF GIVING
We have forgotten
the art of giving,
the more we give,
the more we gain,
without losing anything,
positive energy spreads
in life around us,
giving us joy n happiness,
calmness inside us,
inbuilt we have
many things to give,
a radiant smile,
a helping hand,
a caring look,
a compassionate ear,
a touch of empathy,
abundance of love,
a bit of charity,
lots of sympathy,
this is Almighty’s recipe,
for an ideal Humane life
of Peace and Humanity;
We have forgotten
the art of giving,
give some precious
time to self, to others,
to loved ones,
to near and dear ones,
specially to ourself,
before it is too late,
before we have to repent,
as in this race of survival,
for a better life, we
don’t have time for self,
we don’t have me time,
we have forgotten ourself,
we are left with
no time of our own,
we have lost connect,
with immediate family,
with world around us,
with our inner self;
We have forgotten
the art of giving,
we have forgotten to
live a fruitful life,
in this mad rush
in materialist pursuit,
engrossed in external world,
hankering to get more,
we have forgotten the
pleasure of giving, as
we are disconnected,
from our real,
spiritual internal self,
let us resolve to
forget and forgive,
give whatever we can,
from what God has given us.

TRIVENI SANGAM
CONFLUENCE OF FAITH
Heart
is full of Love,
Conscience
guilt free,
Mind
is at ease,
totally
in Peace,
this
is the confluence,
real
Holy banks of
intrinsic Triveni
Sangam;
On
the track of good Karma’s,
Divine
righteous path
converges
to meet,
Dharma’s guiding
light,
is
the true confluence,
of
Destined Holy banks of
If
every action’s Inclination is,

our Dedication,
Determination
not to waver,
will
always lead us to the
confluence
of Triveni Sangam
Our
body is the Kumbh(Pot),
possessing
confluence
of
Divine Triveni Sangam,
is
capable of absolving
sins,
thru
thoughts deeds actions,
positive
spirit to perform
rituals
at banks of humanity,
taking
dip in the river of charity,
ablutions at the feet
of humility,
is

Karmas to clean our Soul.

I WOULD LIKE
I would like my nature
to
be like a banyan
tree,
I
may not bloom in vibrant colors,
nor
spread enticing fragrance,
I
may not bear sweet delicious fruits,
nor
satiate appetite of needy ones,
but
can spread myself out,
widely
spanning into a canopy,
to
give a whiff of cooling breeze,
to
give solace to a tired soul,
to
cool down frayed nerves,
under
sprawling soothing shade,
where
weary sit down to relax,
recuperating
to comfort sore soles;
I
would like my nature
to
be like a mountain
stream,
happily
gurgling on the way of life,
bubbling
with zest and energy,
never
stopping to ponder and worry,
sidestepping
obstacles with ease,
a
source of inspiration for all to see,
accumulating
in the journey,
minerals
of wisdom and knowledge,
to
soothe thirst of parched throats,
helping
on the way to seed the soil,
for
future prosperity and growth,
knowing
well that my life course,
will
lose its individual identity,
merge
as one of many streams,
in
this big world’s mighty rivers,
to
be ultimately submerged,
in
the ocean of eternity;
I
would like me to be
like
a roadside
milestone,
proudly
embedded on the side,
place
to sit & look ahead,
to
sit with and feel at peace,
of
a person to go to with ease,
with
no fear of getting fleeced,
someone
who will just lend an ear,
will
not judge impose his beliefs,
source
of relief to troubled souls,
guiding
people to the right path,
assuring
that they are on the right path,
indicating
that journey of life
is
only partly covered.

VIRTUES IN LIFE
Through
experience,
through
observation,
to
live a simple happy
uncomplicated
life,
to
gain mental peace,
without
losing much,
I
am learning to keep
luggage
of Karmas light,
to
keep heart full of love,
avoiding
things that
sits
heavy on my heart,
conscience
guilt free,
mind
grudge less,
not
agitated at ease,
I
have adopted some virtues,
to
be an island of peace,
amidst
life’s turbulent sea;
I
have chosen to
tread
the unstinted,
unwavering
path of honesty,
determined
not to fall for greed,
to
keep lust out of
desires,
not
to fall in the pit of avarice,
honesty
only policy in dealings,
may
lead to some immediate loss,
permanent
mental peace,
is
the gain I get;
I
have adopted,
an
approach an attitude,
to
live life within myself,
on
righteous terms,
within
my means,
to
be myself be what I am,
not
what others
expect
me to be,
not
to become like others,
not
to please others,
not
what others are thinking,
what
others may think,
accepting
with courage,
my
drawbacks shortcomings;
Silence is the best
policy,
is
the motto I try to follow,
to
listen more talk less,
as
far as possible,
to
keep mouth shut,
not
jumping to conclusion,
hearing
both sides,
speak
only if required,
speak
only the truth,
nothing
more nothing less,
to
face truth boldly,
not
hide behind lies;
I
have learned the hard way,
no
teaching no preaching
no
saint no sermons no satsang
no
one, not even superficially
praying
to Almighty God,
can
change our mindset,
change
our thoughts,
only
sincere unbiased
efforts
on improving self,
is
of utmost importance,
before
trying to change others,
try
to improve own thoughts;
Guidance
from sensibilities,
implicit
trust in abilities,
explicit
faith in capabilities,
determination
not to waver,
has
helped me to adopt,
simple
basic virtues in life,
which
has helped to understand,
valuable
rule of life, that to
have
lasting cordial relations,
give
as much as possible,
in
any way it is possible,
with
least expectation,
of
getting any reciprocation,
especially
from loved ones,
from
your near n dear ones.

PET LIFE
I have been wondering,
to accumulate good karmas,
what quality of deeds
should I invest in, to live
a luxurious life of leisure,
full of unbridled pleasure,
without working or doing
anything,
comfortably be pampered
to the extent of being
extreme,
where every need is satisfied,
without any effort from me,
cravings whims and fancies,
complied with utmost
alacrity,
taking every possible care,
to keep me prim & trim,
grooming to give a positive
feel,
even before I feel the need;
Recently these thoughts have
been troubling my agitated
mind,
since the day I observed
a pompous snobby pet,
arrogantly nose turned up,
sitting in a luxurious car,
looking around at others,
with disdain jaundiced eyes,
waiting for his appointed
time,
in front of a specialized
super spa and pet store,
being lovingly cared by its
owner,
giving me an inferiority
complex,
about the life of a common
man,
full of trials tribulations
hardships,
struggles to live a decent
life;
We pity the pet’s sight,
overlooking our own plight,
we are enslaved by beliefs,
ingrained and constantly fed,
to satisfy our ego our
psyche,
that we are free of bondage,
we have freedom of thoughts,
liberty to do as we want,
whereas preconceived
notions n thoughts, has
caged our progressive mind,
boundaries of region n religion
has narrowed our prosperous
path,
misplaced morality duties
propriety,
has kept us on a tight lease,
leaders have snatched away,
our freedom our rights,
showing us an elusive mirage,
of a liberal human being,
with a free will doing as he
wills.
We proudly bear all in the
belief,
of being independent and
free,
not under anybody’s control,
nor caged with clipped wings,
ensnared and held on a lease,
but in reality, we
have lost our ability,
to unconditionally trust,
to have unstinted faith,
to shower unabashed love,
on the hand that guides us,
who fulfills all our just
vows.

HOW I WISH
Struggle and
strife,
I have taken in
my stride,
strived very
hard,
rose from penury,
build a happy
life
how I wish, to
carry the gains,
to the promised
life,
beyond the
horizon;
From scratch, I
have
chased a dream,
knitted my
career,
crafted my Life,
how I wish, to
take
my dreams with
me,
to the world,
beyond the
horizon;
Loved ones love,
gave me strength,
family and friends
egged me through,
how I wish,
Love of loved
ones,
will be with me,
when
I cross the
threshold,
beyond the
horizon;
What we have
achieved,
by struggle &
strife,
we think it is
ours,
we will carry it
beyond the end,
how I wish, I
could
scratch and see,
the life I would
live,
beyond the
horizon.
Life will never
end,
Is our eternal
belief,
Material is left
behind,
Intrinsic is set
free,
Body is material,
mortal it will
be,
life is eternal
soul’s
spiritual
journey,
carrying our Deeds,
how we wish, to
carry our
materials,
with our Deeds,
to the life
beyond the
horizon.

DAY AND NIGHT
Days
are so bright,
full
of light, giving
view
of far & wide,
showing
clearly,
the
path to stride;
Nights
are so dark,
scary
dreary bleak
with
no spark,
hiding
clear view,
shrouding
in dark,
the
right path;
Days
are so bright,
we
see our aim in sight,
displaying
what
is
up for grabs,
we
forgo our aim,
happily
we grab,
anything
on offer,
as
harsh light
shadows
caution;
Nights
are so dark,
gingerly
we tread path,
cautious
of every step,
wary
of unknown trap,
as
darkness feeds fear,
we
take utmost care,
It
teaches us in life,
to
tread cautious path;
Days
are so bright,
full
of possibilities,
exploring
opportunities,
shouldering
responsibilities,
frolicking
enjoying,
foliage,
streams,
trails,
animals
mountain
sea & sun,
we
forego caution,
take
life lightly,
live
it up as fun;
Nights
are dark, with
twinkling
shining stars,
shimmering
love lights,
romantic
moody moon,
adds
fresh zest to life;
Days
& Nights
are
two shades of life,
days
are bright,
full
of energy of life,
shows
us ways
to
aim higher for stars,
nights
are dark,
cool
in thought,
teaches
us caution,
in
reaching for the stars;

Poems in “LIVE A JUST LIFE” deals in incorporating, pursuing
& extolling virtues of Good Deeds/Karmas in our daily life. This helps to
positively improve quality of our life as well as impact life around us.

HAS GOD ERRED
God
has erred, or
is
it planned, created
human
in varied shapes,
shades,
species and races,
were
meant to live together,
under
God’s grace;
God
has erred,
or
is it planned, created
religions
to emphasis,
love
for all,
many
Prophets, Seers,
Saints
you did send,
to
show us your path,
of
peace & love,
preach
empathy for all,
live
as one;
God
has laid a Path,
for
us to follow,
where
bliss in life
is
pure & sublime,
Prophets
Seers Saints,
our
guiding lights,
were
true in their sights,
preached
love, peace
and
spread humanity;
We
have erred,
we
have strayed,
there
is so much strife,
enmity
hatred around,
we
praise the Lord,
preach
God’s virtues,
but
follow the Devil,
we
teach hatred,
in
God’s name;
God
has not erred,
it
was not planned,
Prophets
Seers Saints
showed
us God’s path,
vested
interest,
played
their part,
in
their pious name,
played
a game,
founding
religion, dividing
people
spreading hate,
caste
creed colour race,
are
laid as bait;
We
have erred,
from
what was planned,
we
have shunned,
Love
bliss peace harmony,
strife
blood & mayhem,
are
our chosen path,
what
was divine,
we
have lost,
God
has not erred,
we
have moved away
we
left divine path.

DOUBLE MEANING LIFE
Life
is love,
serene
bliss,
pure
as gold,
but
craving lust
creeps
in to bust,
peace
of trust;
Life
is sand,
hold
it lightly,
can
build castles,
lasting
lashing waves,
hold
it tight, it
slips
out of hand,
leaving
behind,
empty
dirty hand;
Life
is water,
nectar
nourishing
always
in a flow,
gurgling
with life,
side
stepping obstacles,
but
in fury,
breaking
banks,
ravaging
fields,
engulfing
places,
submerging
plains;
Life
is waves,
with
its high n low,
can
ride the crest,
or
be swept away;
Life
is air,
it
sustains n cares,
harness
it,
to
create power,
play
lilting music, or
die
gasping for breath;
Life
is breeze,
softly
caressing
cool
& soothing,
in
destroying craze,
howling
whistling
uprooting
trees;
Life
is fire, can
light
someone’s life,
shows
us path,
or
it can be hell,
burning
all to ash;
Double
meaning Life,
is
same for all,
it
waxes it wanes,
for
us to decide,
our
fate, craving
for
morsel or
make
a cake of it;

LIFE IN TUNE
Life
is melodious, with
rhythm
of its own,
emotions
its lyrics,
duties
set the tune;
Life
is throbbing,
full
of meaning,
when
presence is felt,
in
loneliness;
Life
is harmony,
tranquil
serene,
when
in cacophony,
silence
we hear;
Life
is swirling stream,
gurgling
bubbling
verve
n energy,
skirting
obstacles
nourishing
fields;
Life
is soothing,
very
calming, when
fluttering
chirping birds
soothes
bustling city’s
fraying
nerves;
Life
is cooling breeze,
under
sprawling tree
of
familial bond,
caressing
care,
of
blooming buds,
grooming
growth, of
blossoming
flowers,
bearing
healthy
fruits
of future;

THREE SIDES OF A COIN
We as one, are
three sides of a coin,
representing all
aspects of our life,
one side is glory,
embossed as
symbol of past;
We as one, are
three sides of a coin,
one side is present,
giving real value,
showing our worth;
We as one, are
three sides of a coin,
third side is
the width of rims,
holding apart,
the two sides,
while being attached
keeping the past at bay,
from influencing the present,
pegging the value
to grow in worth;
We as one, are
three sides of a coin,
standing on the rim
is best for us,
balancing staying upright,
proudly displaying both
sides,
past as pride n guide,
astride ambitious horse,
aspiring future,
extracting maximum value,
from present worth;
Replicating life,
we as one, are
three sides of a coin,
visible side is
materialist world,
intrinsic body faculties
the other side,
binding both sides
is the Eternal Soul,
punishing rewarding,
as per past present
Karmic deeds,
is the Karma Rim;

HUMANE HUMAN
I see a world of
humans around,
Cold blooded Heartless,
where days are full of hate,
sprinkled with bits of love,
to keep heart in place;
I see a world of
humans around,
filled with selfish greed,
brutal cruel thoughts
is the accepted creed,
doling out charity,
to bargain solace;
I see a world of
humans around,
cowardly outwardly pious,
merciless sadist pitiless,
shrouded in garb of
patriotic religious fervor,
deriding dividing,
satisfying their thirst,
killing spilling blood;
I see a world of
humans around,
I am a human being,
I want to see a world
of humane beings,
full of Love Peace Kindness,
where Humanity
Brotherhood abound,
Compassion Sympathy
is naturally found,
Empathy is deeply felt
For every being around;
Is it difficult
for a Human being
to just add an ‘E’
to be a Humane being,
by Erasing Ego,
by Erasing Enmity,
by Erasing Extremism,
by Erasing Expectations,
by Erasing Encroachment,
to turn out from Human
to a Positive Peace loving
Practical Humane being.

I WONDER I PONDER
I wonder,
thought I ponder,
does our formless
Atman Spirit n Soul,
free of bondage
of any visible body,
has a religion,
has any shape,
have a country,
have any place,
where they reside
gracefully in peace,
as per their religion,
as per their caste,
as per their attributes,
or constantly in conflict,
as per the identity,
as we humans live;
I wonder,
thought I ponder,
does our Gods,
Holy Messengers,
Prophets and Saints,
live in peace,
in their own place,
as per the religion,
which we know them with,
or are constantly in conflict,
as we humans are in,
or they coexist as one,
free of any religion,
as all have preached,
divine path of Universal
Love Peace Harmony
Compassion Humanity,
propagating not any
particular religion,
but path of righteousness,
truth of Omnipresent
Omnipotent One Almighty;
I wonder,
thought I ponder,
all Earthly beings,
have an Atman
Spirit n Soul, residing
in respective bodily form,
except humans, every
being follows divine,
laid down norms,
for their forms,
Almighty has bestowed,
on we humans,
a well-defined body,
a refined mind,
an evolved brain,
to grow spiritually,
which we have wasted,
lusting for power,
in pursuit of greed,
to compartmentalize,
to divide by language
religion boundaries
countries color shapes,
creating chaos disruptions,
spreading hatred enmity,
degenerating, instead of
growing peacefully;
I wonder,
thought I ponder, that
we religiously praise
the righteous path, but
we fail to sense,
the essence of God,
residing in our psyche,
showing us the right path,
but our senses,
like obsessed moth,
get easily attracted
to the glitter of
the materialistic devil,
ensconsed in our mind,
creating all the chaos,
stoking fire of hatred,
in this beautiful faultless
creation of God called Earth;
I wonder,
thought I ponder, but
I am nearly sure,
Atman Spirit Soul,
Almighty Prophets
Religious Gurus Saints,
all are one,
in peace with self,
harmonous movement of
planets asteroids
stars n comets,
functioning of the Universe
since times immemorial,
is the proof that,
no division of religion,
no enmity of region,
no hatred of community,
exist in the REAL world,
only tranquility prevails,
in the spiritual world;

MIND HAS NO MIND
Mind is the fulcrum
of our life,
quality of our life
rotates on its axis,
we have to be
mindful of our mind,
mind has no
mind of his own,
we have to keep
our mind to self,
we have to look within,
listen to inner self,
to keep our mind
on the defined path,
we have to keep
our mind at leash,
constantly coax,
cajole and groom,
from loitering around,
leering ogling lusting
at attractive beautiful
materialist things,
what we feed
is what we get,
what we sow we reap,
what we think,
reflects as thoughts,
how we perceive
is mind’s perception,
what we desire
mind aspires,
how we observe,
our mind reacts,
mind play is in
every aspect of our life,
Social Relations,
Mental Physical health,
to live a life of peace,
don’t give to others
a piece of your mind,
mind is a tease,
we have to keep it at ease;
If mind had a mind of its own,
we would have been on
Almighty’s path of
Love Peace Harmony
Trust n Faith,
which has been now
laid to rest,
sensible and just mind
has failed the test,
Life is on a boil,
Destruction Stress
Hate Strife Turmoil
is on the rise, justifies
that mind has no mind,
mind of his own, but a
limited set frame
of survival instincts,
fed with basic inputs
as per particular life form,
impulse of sensory organs,
triggers emotional stimulus,
mind responds, as per
severity of sensitivity,
intensity of frequency,
brain is the hardware,
mind its operating system,
programmed with Divine intent,
underlined with noble thoughts,
to analyze and compute,
sensory inputs,
with an inbuilt software,
which updates as we age,
as per the life form
we are born in.

PEACE AND SOLACE
I
attend prayers,
in
devotion & faith,
for
peace and solace,
aura
of peace surrounds,
physically
I am present,
mind
wanders around,
mundane
thoughts abound,
agitating
my mind,
to
keep peace
out
of bounds;
I
go to satsang,
ardently
hear sermons,
for
peace and solace,
eyes
are fixed
on
the source,
can
catch the meaning
behind
the discourse,
preconceived
notions,
blocks
the mind,
derails
true meaning
behind
preaching,
as pathos are
missing,
in
my daily course,
I
fail to inculcate
ethos of
teaching;
Alone
in silence,
for
peace and solace,
I
sit to meditate,
as
mind meditates,
efforts
to concentrate
goes
to waste,
stillness
of thought fails,
vagaries
and perils
of
daily life prevails,
mind
tries to mediate,
but
fails to be at rest;
I
listen to soulful
hymns,
for
peace and solace,
praising
paeans of Lord,
can
feel the rhythm,
humm
of chanting hymes,
swooning
swaying,
I
am all ears,
mind
is tuned
to
rhythm of stillness,
but
cacophony of world,
drowns
the silence of sound;
To
atone for,
known
and unknown,
sins
committed,
for
peace and solace,
trying
to accumulate
wealth
of good karmas,
by
publicly doling out,
donating
to charities,
helping
the needy,
physically
mentally,
intentionally
unintentionally,
am
very careful,
not
to hurt anybody,
deeds
are noble,
am
overtly pious;
I
am faithful,
I
have faith in God,
that
one day, before
soul
leaves the body,
I
will be blessed,
I
will be one,
body
and soul
will
be together,
physically
mentally,
will
be in unison,
will
be one,
be
one with self,
will
be as one,
in
love with the world,
in
peace with everyone.

ONE DAY IT IS CERTAIN
One
day, it is certain,
a
near and dear one,
will
cremate my body,
consign
me to flames,
turning
me to ash,
to
be mingled
with Panchtatvas,
elements
of nature;
One
day, it is certain,
a
near and dear one,
will
bury me,
lay
me to rest,
to
disintegrate,
to
be fodder for some,
to
be merged,
with Mother
Earth;
One
day, it is certain,
the
mightiest strongest,
will
not have the strength,
to
hold their own weight,
will
have to be carried,
by
near and dear ones,
to
the final resting place;
One
day, it is certain,
smartest,
vilest,
the
most cunning,
will
not be able
hoodwink
survival,
be
able to wriggle out,
from
clutches of destiny,
will
be laid to rest,
by
near and dear ones,
to
rest in peace;
One
day, it is certain,
our
body, for which
we
have given our life,
to
inflate with ego,
to
satisfy urge of lust,
to
satiate thirst for more,
to
breed greed, pamper needs,
to
groom beautify self,
to
build n break relations,
will
lie motionless,
with
no life to move,
when
we die, Soul
the
real me will rise,
body
will fall lifeless,
to
be immediately taken
by
near and dear ones,
to
be disposed of, before
it
rots decays smells;
One
day, we should realize,
for
our own good,
body
identifies material,
my
physical self,
will
be left behind,
indestructible
eternal
Soul,
the real me,
cannot
be cremated,
consigned
to flames,
turned
to ashes,
buried
to disintegrate,
to
merge with nature,
be
one with Mother Earth,
as
soul is the essence of

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT
Nothing is perfect,
in this beautiful perfect
world,
perfection is an illusion,
creating surreal mirage
of pristine perfection,
by cohesive play
of various species
specific imperfections,
beautifully captivating us,
to ignore imperfections,
enchanting us to be
enamored by their grit,
admiring survival instincts,
abilities to overcome
shortcomings of beings;
In this perfect world,
nothing is perfect,
imperfection is all around,
some walk some fly,
some live under water,
some live under ground,
some slither some slide,
some drag some crawl,
some are swift some agile,
some have grace,
some have pace,
some are sturdy,
some entwin to grow,
some lumber, some trundle,
some are sloppy some droopy;
In this perfect world,
nothing is perfect,
some have hands,
to grab opportunities,
some have strength,
to subdue opponents;
some have wings,
to soar high,
touch the sky,
some are rooted
to the ground,
sprouting colors of life,
spreading sweet
fragrance of love,
blossoming providing,
food to live a healthy life;
Nobody is perfect,
nothing is perfect,
in this perfect world,
nature teaches us a lesson,
to ignore faults,
not to rue shortcomings,
hankering for perfection,
will give us a life of rut,
to live a peaceful
harmonious fruitful life,
improve on strength,
we should accept our own,
as well as accept
others imperfections,
helping each other,
by optimally utilizing
on what we have got.

FESTIVAL OF LIFE
Poem by Bharat P. Bedi
I
was in a Divine place,
where
people’s humanity,
was
shimmering bright,
Festival
of Lights, was
lit
by radiance of smile,
joy
& happiness was
Illuminating
life,
bliss
was twinkling
in
their eyes, like
a
blinking string of lights,
from
warmth of togetherness,
faces
were glowing,
like a
golden lantern,
replacing
sounds of crackers,
was
crackle of happiness,
loud
burst of laughter,
sparkle
of peace n harmony,
glitter
of humane love,
rocket
of integrity, was
soaring
with prosperity,
light
of humanity was
piercing
darkness of hatred,
fragrance
of cordial relations,
was
spreading sweetness
of festive
treats;
Seeing
me dazed,
totally
amazed,
by
the divine
aura
of
serene ambience,
a
local enlightened me,
the
glow is pure,
coming
from within,
as
acceptance gives peace,
satisfaction
keeps us at ease,
patience
helps will to hold,
sharing
builds lasting bond,
caring
teaches love for all,
humane
is the will of God,
humanity
is the real
religion
of us all,
this
brightness this glitter
this
glare is natural from within us,
is
always with us, for us
every
moment is an occasion
for
celebration, we are not
dependent
on external lights,
to
be lit on festivals nights,
as
we don’t have to hide,
the
layers of darkness, of
cunning
greed hatred and strife;
Sweating
shuddering shivering,
I
woke up with an unease,
from
the dream I have been in,
pondering,
is it difficult
to
live a dream life,
like
the life I have
seen
in the dream,
adopting
simple virtues,
adhering
noble values,
seems
difficult in this
cut
throat go getter,
today’s
self centered world,
but
easily possible, if
we
don’t let our virtues,
turn
to be our vices.

ART OF GIVING
We have forgotten
the art of giving,
the more we give,
the more we gain,
without losing anything,
positive energy spreads
in life around us,
giving us joy n happiness,
calmness inside us,
inbuilt we have
many things to give,
a radiant smile,
a helping hand,
a caring look,
a compassionate ear,
a touch of empathy,
abundance of love,
a bit of charity,
lots of sympathy,
this is Almighty’s recipe,
for an ideal Humane life
of Peace and Humanity;
We have forgotten
the art of giving,
give some precious
time to self, to others,
to loved ones,
to near and dear ones,
specially to ourself,
before it is too late,
before we have to repent,
as in this race of survival,
for a better life, we
don’t have time for self,
we don’t have me time,
we have forgotten ourself,
we are left with
no time of our own,
we have lost connect,
with immediate family,
with world around us,
with our inner self;
We have forgotten
the art of giving,
we have forgotten to
live a fruitful life,
in this mad rush
in materialist pursuit,
engrossed in external world,
hankering to get more,
we have forgotten the
pleasure of giving, as
we are disconnected,
from our real,
spiritual internal self,
let us resolve to
forget and forgive,
give whatever we can,
from what God has given us.

TRIVENI SANGAM
CONFLUENCE OF FAITH
Heart
is full of Love,
Conscience
guilt free,
Mind
is at ease,
totally
in Peace,
this
is the confluence,
real
Holy banks of
intrinsic Triveni
Sangam;
On
the track of good Karma’s,
Divine
righteous path
converges
to meet,
Dharma’s guiding
light,
is
the true confluence,
of
Destined Holy banks of
If
every action’s Inclination is,
propels
our Dedication,
Determination
not to waver,
will
always lead us to the
confluence
of Triveni Sangam
Our
body is the Kumbh(Pot),
possessing
confluence
of
Divine Triveni Sangam,
is
capable of absolving
sins,
thru
thoughts deeds actions,
positive
spirit to perform
rituals
at banks of humanity,
taking
dip in the river of charity,
ablutions at the feet
of humility,
is
the Dharmas
essence
for
Karmas to clean our Soul.

I WOULD LIKE
I would like my nature
to
be like a banyan
tree,
I
may not bloom in vibrant colors,
nor
spread enticing fragrance,
I
may not bear sweet delicious fruits,
nor
satiate appetite of needy ones,
but
can spread myself out,
widely
spanning into a canopy,
to
give a whiff of cooling breeze,
to
give solace to a tired soul,
to
cool down frayed nerves,
under
sprawling soothing shade,
where
weary sit down to relax,
recuperating
to comfort sore soles;
I
would like my nature
to
be like a mountain
stream,
happily
gurgling on the way of life,
bubbling
with zest and energy,
never
stopping to ponder and worry,
sidestepping
obstacles with ease,
a
source of inspiration for all to see,
accumulating
in the journey,
minerals
of wisdom and knowledge,
to
soothe thirst of parched throats,
helping
on the way to seed the soil,
for
future prosperity and growth,
knowing
well that my life course,
will
lose its individual identity,
merge
as one of many streams,
in
this big world’s mighty rivers,
to
be ultimately submerged,
in
the ocean of eternity;
I
would like me to be
like
a roadside
milestone,
proudly
embedded on the side,
place
to sit & look ahead,
to
sit with and feel at peace,
of
a person to go to with ease,
with
no fear of getting fleeced,
someone
who will just lend an ear,
will
not judge impose his beliefs,
source
of relief to troubled souls,
guiding
people to the right path,
assuring
that they are on the right path,
indicating
that journey of life
is
only partly covered.

VIRTUES IN LIFE
Through
experience,
through
observation,
to
live a simple happy
uncomplicated
life,
to
gain mental peace,
without
losing much,
I
am learning to keep
luggage
of Karmas light,
to
keep heart full of love,
avoiding
things that
sits
heavy on my heart,
conscience
guilt free,
mind
grudge less,
not
agitated at ease,
I
have adopted some virtues,
to
be an island of peace,
amidst
life’s turbulent sea;
I
have chosen to
tread
the unstinted,
unwavering
path of honesty,
determined
not to fall for greed,
to
keep lust out of
desires,
not
to fall in the pit of avarice,
honesty
only policy in dealings,
may
lead to some immediate loss,
permanent
mental peace,
is
the gain I get;
I
have adopted,
an
approach an attitude,
to
live life within myself,
on
righteous terms,
within
my means,
to
be myself be what I am,
not
what others
expect
me to be,
not
to become like others,
not
to please others,
not
what others are thinking,
what
others may think,
accepting
with courage,
my
drawbacks shortcomings;
Silence is the best
policy,
is
the motto I try to follow,
to
listen more talk less,
as
far as possible,
to
keep mouth shut,
not
jumping to conclusion,
hearing
both sides,
speak
only if required,
speak
only the truth,
nothing
more nothing less,
to
face truth boldly,
not
hide behind lies;
I
have learned the hard way,
no
teaching no preaching
no
saint no sermons no satsang
no
one, not even superficially
praying
to Almighty God,
can
change our mindset,
change
our thoughts,
only
sincere unbiased
efforts
on improving self,
is
of utmost importance,
before
trying to change others,
try
to improve own thoughts;
Guidance
from sensibilities,
implicit
trust in abilities,
explicit
faith in capabilities,
determination
not to waver,
has
helped me to adopt,
simple
basic virtues in life,
which
has helped to understand,
valuable
rule of life, that to
have
lasting cordial relations,
give
as much as possible,
in
any way it is possible,
with
least expectation,
of
getting any reciprocation,
especially
from loved ones,
from
your near n dear ones.

PET LIFE
I have been wondering,
to accumulate good karmas,
what quality of deeds
should I invest in, to live
a luxurious life of leisure,
full of unbridled pleasure,
without working or doing
anything,
comfortably be pampered
to the extent of being
extreme,
where every need is satisfied,
without any effort from me,
cravings whims and fancies,
complied with utmost
alacrity,
taking every possible care,
to keep me prim & trim,
grooming to give a positive
feel,
even before I feel the need;
Recently these thoughts have
been troubling my agitated
mind,
since the day I observed
a pompous snobby pet,
arrogantly nose turned up,
sitting in a luxurious car,
looking around at others,
with disdain jaundiced eyes,
waiting for his appointed
time,
in front of a specialized
super spa and pet store,
being lovingly cared by its
owner,
giving me an inferiority
complex,
about the life of a common
man,
full of trials tribulations
hardships,
struggles to live a decent
life;
We pity the pet’s sight,
overlooking our own plight,
we are enslaved by beliefs,
ingrained and constantly fed,
to satisfy our ego our
psyche,
that we are free of bondage,
we have freedom of thoughts,
liberty to do as we want,
whereas preconceived
notions n thoughts, has
caged our progressive mind,
boundaries of region n religion
has narrowed our prosperous
path,
misplaced morality duties
propriety,
has kept us on a tight lease,
leaders have snatched away,
our freedom our rights,
showing us an elusive mirage,
of a liberal human being,
with a free will doing as he
wills.
We proudly bear all in the
belief,
of being independent and
free,
not under anybody’s control,
nor caged with clipped wings,
ensnared and held on a lease,
but in reality, we
have lost our ability,
to unconditionally trust,
to have unstinted faith,
to shower unabashed love,
on the hand that guides us,
who fulfills all our just
vows.

HOW I WISH
Struggle and
strife,
I have taken in
my stride,
strived very
hard,
rose from penury,
build a happy
life
how I wish, to
carry the gains,
to the promised
life,
beyond the
horizon;
From scratch, I
have
chased a dream,
knitted my
career,
crafted my Life,
how I wish, to
take
my dreams with
me,
to the world,
beyond the
horizon;
Loved ones love,
gave me strength,
family and friends
egged me through,
how I wish,
Love of loved
ones,
will be with me,
when
I cross the
threshold,
beyond the
horizon;
What we have
achieved,
by struggle &
strife,
we think it is
ours,
we will carry it
beyond the end,
how I wish, I
could
scratch and see,
the life I would
live,
beyond the
horizon.
Life will never
end,
Is our eternal
belief,
Material is left
behind,
Intrinsic is set
free,
Body is material,
mortal it will
be,
life is eternal
soul’s
spiritual
journey,
carrying our Deeds,
how we wish, to
carry our
materials,
with our Deeds,
to the life
beyond the
horizon.

DAY AND NIGHT
Days
are so bright,
full
of light, giving
view
of far & wide,
showing
clearly,
the
path to stride;
Nights
are so dark,
scary
dreary bleak
with
no spark,
hiding
clear view,
shrouding
in dark,
the
right path;
Days
are so bright,
we
see our aim in sight,
displaying
what
is
up for grabs,
we
forgo our aim,
happily
we grab,
anything
on offer,
as
harsh light
shadows
caution;
Nights
are so dark,
gingerly
we tread path,
cautious
of every step,
wary
of unknown trap,
as
darkness feeds fear,
we
take utmost care,
It
teaches us in life,
to
tread cautious path;
Days
are so bright,
full
of possibilities,
exploring
opportunities,
shouldering
responsibilities,
frolicking
enjoying,
foliage,
streams,
trails,
animals
mountain
sea & sun,
we
forego caution,
take
life lightly,
live
it up as fun;
Nights
are dark, with
twinkling
shining stars,
shimmering
love lights,
romantic
moody moon,
adds
fresh zest to life;
Days
& Nights
are
two shades of life,
days
are bright,
full
of energy of life,
shows
us ways
to
aim higher for stars,
nights
are dark,
cool
in thought,
teaches
us caution,
in
reaching for the stars;

Poems in “LIVE A JUST LIFE” deals in incorporating, pursuing
& extolling virtues of Good Deeds/Karmas in our daily life. This helps to
positively improve quality of our life as well as impact life around us.

It is magic to express your feelings in a few
words.
