SOCIAL BALANCING

Virtually,

social distancing

brought lives closer,

relations bonded fast,

string of memories

filled hearts; 

Virus of loneliness was

creeping up our hearts,

sweeping aside ego

sweeping aside pride

filled Vacuum of loneliness

with sweet memories of past;

Proximity blurred vision,

distance gave clarity,

bitterness of closeness

melted with sweet thoughts,

relationship, which

seemed a burden, started

to pull Strings of Heart;

Nature pulled a fast one

when it pulled us to the ground,

realisation dawned,

when a tiny Virus,

pinned mighty down,

suddenly we realised

a vacuum in life,

inspite of everything,

we are empty inside.
