It is pure bliss,

uplifting ecstatic euphoric,

idling in open balcony,

sitting legs up on rails,

viewing dripping,

dark green leaves,

breathing intoxicating

freshly wet rain filled air,

feeling like in seventh heaven,

when heavens are falling,

in steady streaming rain;

 

It is pure bliss,

when dark grey clouds,

drip n drizzle,

mood tickles, to

relax and laze,

warmly ensconced,

sipping hot soup

coffee masala tea,

relishing kanda bhajiya

pakoda vada fritters,

savouring fried n spicy,

tasty crunchy nibbles;

 

It is pure bliss,

nature dances n blooms,

when pure n clear,

rain drops fill the air,

spreading nectar,

giving fresh lease

of life to our lives,

Earth opens up,

sprouting new life,

foliage brightens, adding

colours of every shade,

rivers gurgle in glee,

sea waves leap to greet,

nature’s precious gift,

emotions surge,

romance sizzles,

love is in the air,

fuelling zest to life,

this rainy season,

gives a reason,

meaning to live life.
