 I am a misfit

in today’s world,

I am not a go getter,

nor a jet setter,

I don’t jump the queue,

I am laid back

I wait for my turn,

I am a man of few words,

I weigh my words,

I am true to my words,

I value my words,

on the scale of

self-commitment

and inner strength,

still Almighty has

bestowed the

best on me;

I am a misfit

in today’s world,

I am an idealistic

not materialistic,

I crave for things

but don’t lust for it,

I am docile

but not meek,

I am devout

but not a fanatic,

I am hardworking but

not overtly ambitious,

I am sincere but

not overbearing,

I am strong but

not aggressive bully,

Thanks to God,

I am blessed,

with all the good things;

I am a misfit

in today’s world,

physically unfit

in a fit world,

low immunity easily

gets me infected,

fighting many infections,

crawled back to life

from severe pandemic,

survived major surgeries,

sacrificing two vital organs,

still active n working,

alive n kicking,

living by God’s will,

thru Doctor’s expertise

and medical skills;

I may be a misfit

in today’s world, but

God sees me as

fit for his grace,

guiding me

to the Virtuous path,

Patience,

giving me rewards

for waiting my turn,

Acceptance,

imbibing in me

to be happy

in what I get;

life has been good to me,

God has blessed me,

given me more

then I deserved;
