DOUBLE MEANING LIFE 

Life is love,

serene bliss,

pure as gold,

but craving lust

creeps in to bust,

peace of trust; 

Life is sand,

hold it lightly,

can build castles,

lasting lashing waves,

hold it tight, it

slips out of hand,

leaving behind,

empty dirty hand; 

Life is water,

nectar nourishing

always in a flow,

gurgling with life,

side stepping obstacles,

but in fury,

breaking banks,

ravaging fields,

engulfing places,

submerging plains; 

Life is waves,

with its high n low,

can ride the crest,

or be swept away; 

Life is air,

it sustains n cares,

harness it,

to create power,

play lilting music, or

die gasping for breath; 

Life is breeze,

softly caressing

cool & soothing,

in destroying craze,

howling whistling

uprooting trees; 

Life is fire, can

light someone’s life,

shows us path,

or it can be hell,

burning all to ash; 

Double meaning Life,

is same for all,

it waxes it wanes,

for us to decide,

our fate, craving

for morsel or

make a cake of it;
