DREAM
In
pursuit of mirage,
astride
horse of ambition,
dream
of splendour
extravagant
living,
pulled
us out,
from
abject poverty,
moving
gradually, leaving
behind
chaos & disruption,
of hand to mouth existence;
Bound
by strong strength
of
familial togetherness,
straightening
ruffled edges
as
standard improved,
misery gradually drops;
Spurred
by success,
familial
thread of bonding,
started
weakening, as
success
firmed its roots,
pursuit
of personal gains,
pursuit
of self happiness,
pulled strings of faith;
Forgetting
hardship,
forgetting
pain,
forgetting
sorrow,
which
family endured,
to
hold all together,
bring
them this day, when
they
have this freedom,
when
they have power,
to
mould their destiny,
to
mould their future,
choosing
their career,
choosing their partner;
I
feel it is my duty,
to
hold the family,
through
sacrifice & care,
path
is still clear,
as
the road of our dream,
is
still half achieved,
I
planned my career,
keeping
aside my longings,
fulfilling parents expectations;
Charming
& understanding,
my
life partner filled the bill,
intelligent
to control situations,
understand
uncertainties,
smoothen
ruffled edges,
string
the beads together,
for
a concerted effort,
of
all present
new to come.
