THOUGHTS OF RETIREMENT

Standing on the

sands of time,

basking in the

post retirement,

of new era dawn;

Waves of emotions

cascades down,

engulfing you, with

memories of yore

some sweet some sore;

Whirling waters

shifting sands

tickles soul,

bringing warmth

as amber glow, from

memories galore; 

Water ebbs again,

sure to come back,

shifting sands of

memories,

leaving wet soul,

memories sticking

as sands of time; 

May the tide

of good tidings

always encircle you

basking in the warmth

of loved ones,

may good health

be your companion

prosperity be

your friend, for

eons to come.
