LOVE & LUSTY PASSION 

Is it Love or Lusty passion,

when a beautiful fresh

enchanting face,

increases your heart beat,

keeps you tongue tied,

control your emotions,

pulling you to be

close to it, possess it;

It is love not fleeting passion,

when emotionally we feel hurt,

as sorrow drains freshness

from beauty’s face,

strained smile shows pain,

lilt in laughter is subdued,

shine in mischievous eyes

grief has shadowed it;

Love is grief subdued,

lasting, leaving a

mark of its tidings,

passion is passing

lusty & non binding,

it is love not lusty passion,

as your heart melts

at beloved’s pain,

it is pure love,

when we forget

own sorrow, our miseries

to bring relief,

sharing beloved’s grief.
