TRUST IN GOD

From ages, it

has been ingrained

in our minds,

troubles are destined,

have faith in the divine,

don't fret fume n whine,

bear it with a smile;

Without losing faith,

we have faced,

marauding raiders,

tyrant invaders,

enslaving cunning empires,

with self belief, that

troubles are destined,

it will fade, bear

it with a smile; 

Such is our belief,

such is our way of life,

who came to conquer,

to enslave n loot,

forgot their roots,

were conquered by

embracing our culture,

following our thoughts,

that troubles are destined,

don`t fret fume n whine,

bear it with a smile;

Our belief never wavered,

our stride never faltered,

we accepted it as our fate,

we are used to living

on the edge,

we don't have fear

of falling down,

as living,

clutching at straws,

has been our way of life,

we don`t fret fume n whine,

we bear it with a smile;

Regular floods, calamities

droughts epidemics disasters,

we embraced every pain,

we weathered every storm,

we bore the brunt of

parched earth, we gulped

down floods of thirst,

we savoured pangs

of hunger,

without a whimper,

as we feel

troubles are destined,

don't fret fume n whine,

bear it with a smile;

It is against our culture

to degrade the departed,

it is against our thoughts

to blame it on Gods,

it hurts it pains, when for

short term selfish gains,

people blame everything,

on deceased predecessors,

on almighty God, to

defend their follies,

shield their incompetence

Till now,

bearing all this turmoil,

we never felt shamed,

we had strength of belief,

conviction of faith,

courage of owning,

boldly facing our fate; 

But now we are taught,

don`t bear it with a smile,

we should fret fume n whine,

designed troubles

blame it on others,

destined troubles,

blame it on divine.
