ROAD SHOW

There is a brutal savage

reality show on road,

produced by Virus, misdirected

by maha trumpeter;

Story of isolation

screenplay social distancing

scenario containment

dialogues by quarantine; 

Background music score

of taali thali ghanta n bells

drowned downtrodden`s

fury anger pleas n wails; 

Lights from fire burning

as hunger in stomach

of young n old,

special effects of divine aura

torch lights lamps n diyas,

could not hide crying shame;

Hero Grit guts n confidence

Heroine faith duty n strength,

Child cried for future

Aged showed continuity

Young the forward way; 

Villains were the usual

corrupt vile creatures

others miseries n maladies

are seen as opportunities;

Action from kicks cane n sticks,

stunts walking on track,

thrills hanging for life

clinging to Bus trucks n train;

Cruel twist in Drama unfolds

planes showered on roads

petals of flowers n rose,

making mockery of

cuts cracks n sores

blistered feet, tired soles;

To divert mind from

horrendous times,

ramp Sizzled with

voluptuous figures,

slithering n enticing

dangling juicy Dollops,

promising flourishing life

away where Horizon dips;

Twist in story,

tragic scenes,

drama unfolds,

love Trust n faith,

defeated evil designs.

to spread communal

virus of hate,

thru thick n thin,

friendship stuck

community bonded,

beating evil designs of Viruses,

nibbling n tearing, at years

of well spun social fabric,

built on humanity

humility n mutual faith;

Thank God, we and

Country is safe,

In all this misery n grief

life was still living its brief,

familial obligation n ties,

holds true towards

parents n child,

Ethos are kicking,

Pathos still alive.

    "ताली" या "थाली" बजाने वालों को
    कोरोना ने बक्शा नही। पर जिनके पास न थाली थी ना ताली बजाने का उत्साह, उन सभी को कोरोना ने बिकुल माफ कर दिया। ये कुदरत की लीला है। कोरोन में ज्यादातर वही मारे है जिन्हे अपने संपन्न और सेहतमंद होने का गुमान था।
